Barrington Living History Farm staff graciously invites family and friends to gather with them in the home of Dr. and Mrs. Anson Jones to celebrate Christmas the old-fashioned way. Throughout the day feast on mouth-watering sausage and biscuits served piping hot from the chuck wagon and enjoy hot coffee, warm spiced cider, and Christmas goodies served in the dogrum of the Farm office.

Experience the magic of the holiday season with a candlelight visit to the Birthplace of Texas. Enjoy carols in the Visitor Center while shopping for those special gifts. Then stroll down the trail to Independence Hall, enjoy stories of the past and learn how the residents of the early Texas town would have celebrated the holiday season.
Dec 11: Chappell Hill Teddy Bear Parade

Children are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear dressed in festive holiday finery and decorations and march in the Chappell Hill Teddy Bear Parade. Rudolph helps hand out prizes in several categories and children enjoy story time with Mrs. Claus while waiting patiently for Santa's arrival.
